I do my own stunts.

This is what the t shirt says. He is so darn cute, but looks can be deceiving. He has had stitches, broken wrist, broken collar bone, fractured tooth & had to get it pulled. That is all I can remember! He is a little dare devil, mischievous, has a terrific laugh, very active, comedian, & I get to celebrate life with him everyday! I could not have a better life. I should add we do have two girls, but they are in school all day long. I really miss them. I do have lots of pictures of them also.
Guess & get a prize! (updated)
January 28, 2008
What do you link he is eating? Take a guess. I’ll give the first person a little something. I haven’t decided what exactly yet, maybe a gift certificate from me, my favorite print from their session if you have had one with me. If you are out of my area & would like a session with me we’ll talk & maybe if you are really nice I might get you a gift certificate. You can post a reply here, or send me an email at kayla@kaylasullivan.com. I’ll go by the time that your message was sent to me the first person is the winner!
WOW! You guys & girls are quick. I guess this one was way too easy! I figured one of you would get it today. I didn’t want the first one to be too difficult. Beth S. is the winner. She guessed mac & cheese. I’ll be in touch with you about your prize.
Webkinz, Cowoys, & Indians, Oh My!
January 21, 2008
Quite awhile back my mom gave me a bucket of some old toys of when I was younger. The toys were cowboy & Indians. Do you remember playing cops & robbers, & cowboys & Indians? Well, I do. Maybe it is the fact that I have two older brothers. I guess I just played whatever they were playing & went with it! My kids love playing with my old toys. If you don’t know what Webkinz are you probably don’t have a child that is between the ages of 6-13. Our two youngest kids decided today to play with the old stuff along with the new stuff. They dressed up their Webkinz in cowboys & Indians gear. They play so good together & love to create new games. Here is a few pictures of new old play toys!
A high of 5!
January 18, 2008
That’s right. The weather forecast today is for a high of 5 here! It is cold! To all my friends in the south, you are not cold just because it is 31 in Georgia & you got a dusting of snow!! We have a friendly joke going back & forth between us where they think they are freezing & school is shut down if there is a speck of snow in the forecast. I love it here & wouldn’t live anywhere else. I will admit the winters do get long, but with that said with all the snow cover it is so beautiful. There is also a lot of various winter activities to do outside. And, if you can stand the winter here you are in for such beauty in the entire rest of the year.
We’ve been out sledding, ice skating, & also inside for doing some puzzles.
Hope you are all staying warm!

Winter Wonderland.
January 5, 2008
My mom lives on a beautiful MN lake. It is just fabulous going up there. It is peaceful. The kids can go sledding & ice skating. Oh, & jumping off the shed into a big pile of snow. Someone in our family would love to get a snowmobile & maybe an ice house….maybe someday.
I love living in the midwest. We get the best of all the seasons. I know a lot of people that live in the south (& some that have never seen snow, can you believe it?!) that say they could never live here. They just don’t know what they are missing! I will admit the winters here do get long, but with all the activities & the scenery here I wouldn’t live anywhere else. Do any of my friends from the south want to come & visit?
Family.

We went to visit my mom a few days ago. I have the best mother. She loves when we all come to visit. She really values family time, & we talked about next Christmas not giving presents just for us all to be together to talk, play games, eat, & just have fun! We do all of those thing now, but we are trying to get all the kids to understand the reason behind the season & try to get away from so much commercialism (aka their ‘need’ for gifts). This year we did the gifts & all that other fun stuff. She does a treasure hunt for the kids for one of their presents. They all love this & look forward to it. A couple of the photos below are of the hunt, reading one of the clues, & running up the stairs. Here is some pictures of the cousins. There is two boys in the family that are the clowns. Can you guess which two?
